About

My Story

My name is Jake Enevoldsen, and I am an accredited social worker, counsellor, and adult educator of mental health, counselling, youth work, and community services.

I created Holding Space Healing due to a need to support people to achieve the life and goals they want.

I started this service with the intention of creating a safe and inclusive space for people to help them navigate their life and the complexities that come with it. Whether it is grief and loss, identity, challenges with work or family, or difficulties managing our trauma responses, Holding Space Healing is here for you.

Drawing on a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, I offer support that is grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and genuine human connection. I am a big believer that our relationships significantly impact us in every aspect of our life.

After years of working across community services, social work, and crisis-driven spaces, I saw how powerful it is when people feel truly seen and supported.

Holding Space Healing was born from a desire to walk alongside others as they reclaim their stories, reconnect with themselves, and move toward healing — on their own terms.
